1. What's your favorite song?

I have trouble picking just one... maybe "Bittersweet Symphony" by The Verve. That's a great song.

2. How about your favorite artist?

It varies, but right now I'm on a huge Owl City kick. Wow this guy is good.

3. What genre do you typically listen to?

Most of my music library is taken up with electronica, but I also like 80's rock and whatever catches my interest.

4. How often do you listen to music?

Several hours a day, at least. Pretty much as often as possible.

5. If you could only have one song to listen to for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I'd have to say "Fireflies" by Owl City. It's happy and catchy and I love the lyrics.

6. How loud do you like your music? Soft and in the background, or enough decibels to make your ears bleed?

Usually I tend towards the "make your ears bleed" end of the spectrum, but it depends on the music.

7. Do you ever get mental images from listening to music? If so, share one or two please.

Indeed I do. One of my favorites is in "Wherever You Are" by Ulrich Schnauss, where Optimus Prime rides a blue whale through the ocean.

8. Are there any songs or artists you hate like burning? Why?

I cannot stand "Hotel California" by The Eagles, not for any of its merits or lack thereof but because my older sister used to play it ALL THE TIME *grinds teeth*

Also, the vast majority of rap needs to die in a fire. How many times do people really want to listen to a "song" about women with big asses and how much the singer wants to sleep with them?

9. Please share one artist that you think is under-appreciated.

Everybody needs to go out and hug a Switchfoot song right now.

10. Do you own an iPod or other portable music player, and how important is it to you?

I have a 4GB Shuffle, and it goes pretty much everywhere with me. I love just walking around a huge store while listening to music. It's fun and good exercise!
